The Cadence Roundtable is a catalyst for courageous climate conversations among policy makers and professionals in government, public and private sector organisations and NGOs. We provide four kinds of space for these to happen.
We can introduce you to others who are on the same journey. We can offer a safe, emotionally-intelligent space for sharing understandings, feelings and responses relating to environmental breakdown in our professional life. See our Cadence Conversations page for more details.
Networking and brokerage
We understand how much courage and judgment it takes to open debate around environmental breakdown in your organisation or profession, or with government. If you’re drafting that first report, or planning your strategy, we can fix you up with others who can offer friendly and confidential peer-review. Where interest exists around specific areas of policy, practice or professional expertise, we can set up contact groups for ongoing collaboration. Find out more about membership of the Cadence Roundtable.
Workshops and consultancy
Public service organisations must prepare both themselves and the public for the profound challenges which face us. We can help you develop the practical and emotional skills and capabilities of your organisation, and of the people who form it. With you we can host a workshop for your department, colleagues, network, professional body or community. We can offer longer-term support for a journey of change.
Action research and advocacy
We can convene a team for focused action research to develop recommendations in a specific area of policy or practice. We can also support you in advocacy and promotion to responsible authorities and audiences. If you see an opportunity for innovation of this kind, we can put the word out to our members to convene a group.
We are a new organisation that seeks to be responsive to need. If you don’t see exactly what you are looking for on these pages you’re still welcome to make contact. We may still be able to help or refer you to one of our partner organisations. If you’d like to take up the offer of contact with other members, please be patient while we find people who can help you.
