Getting practical on flooding

Tuesday 15 February 2022, 10.30 GMT, via Zoom

Our session for January will be a chance to share what you need in helping society to prepare for envir

‘…the number of people living in flood-prone areas is growing faster than
is the number living on higher ground’ – Nature Aug 2021.

Globally ’1.47 billion people face at least a moderate flood risk’ – World Bank 2020

As 1 in 100 year events start to gather pace the threat of coastal and
fluvial flooding is becoming a reality for many.  Do you live or work in
a flood zone?  In this session we aim to focus practically on two key
questions:

  1. What resources are available to help us identify the risk we face and
    take practical action?
  2. What do those who are taking action or have experienced flooding have to tell us?

To register visit Eventbrite.

Joining details will be sent via email following a booking. If you don’t receive them please check your junk folder and then contact us.
