Climate change at work – what we can get done, and what can get done to us?

Thursday 15th July, 10.30-11.30 BST

This session is a chance to consider threats to professional integrity from corporate inertia in the face of climate breakdown.

Once we understand the climate threats facing our society, we are pitched into complex professional challenges. We might struggle to collaborate with colleagues who are oblivious to the risks ahead.  We might feel hemmed in by corporate goals – even those for sustainability – which won’t survive abrupt climate change.  We may even find ourselves professionally compromised and morally injured.

This session is a chance to share experiences, discuss routes of support and wrestle with threats to professional integrity from corporate inertia in the face of climate breakdown. We will consider one legal case study in detail.
