Cadence Roundtable

Environmental breakdown: professional peer-support, policy and practice

Join a Workshop

Cadence Roundtable offers a programme of regular Workshops on Zoom, open to members and non-members.  You will find forthcoming workshops listed on our Events page

Our Workshops will equip you to play a part in building society’s preparedness for environmental breakdown.  Each session opens with an introduction to the advertised topic from a member or guest speaker; exploration of the issues raised in breakout groups; and a plenary to identify the lessons learned.

Workshops last 90 minutes in total.  In order to accommodate various time zones and to accommodate those who cannot join in office hours, meeting times vary between daytime and evening.

Topics of recent workshops have included:

  • The end of secrecy and the ethics of transparency, exploring the risks that have to be managed when existential climate risk is promoted in the public domain
  • Breaking the taboo in government, considering how public sector performance culture can accommodate the vulnerability and uncertainty of climate breakdown
  • The hyper-local and the enabling centre, investigating how localism can help build resilience to environmental breakdown.

Joining a Workshop is a good way of getting to know us. We look forward to seeing you at one soon.
